Fr. Malcolm Ellis and wife Tessa retired to Houston, TX from the Diocese of Maryland. Fr. Ellis was ordained an Anglican priest in South Africa. While serving as a parish priest in Chicago, Fr. Ellis completed his Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry at the Chicago Theological Seminary and then the family returned to minister in South Africa.

The Ellis family immigrated to the USA in 1987. While residing in this country, he has been an Episcopal parish priest in Illinois, Florida, Texas, Minnesota and Maryland.

Fr. Ellis and Tessa have five children and nine grandchildren, and a significant part of their retirement has been dedicated to travel.

His favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you; I will help you.
